Hi All A quick question what are the recommended tyres for a mark 2 explorer xlt. I had Goodyear on the car when I got it but a dealer fitted two new Avon tyres to the front recently and the grip is rubbish, I go up a steep car park slope in the wet and the car struggles to maintain traction.

I'm new to this forum. but on ready this thread I'm suprised at all the trouble people have had. I got the recall booked in my car in St Albans same day for them to check it out. they then ordered the parts took two weeks to come in then they fitted while I sat there about 20 mins. Excellent job.
