    '92 Ranger brake trouble

    Front or back or all 4 locking up? Bleed the system again. Sounds like air in the system causing them to grab.

    84 Ranger, where do I start?

    THAT looks like a fun a@@ truck! I had an '86 4x4 stx with a 2.9l 5 speed manual and a 6" suspension lift on 12.50x33's. Just make sure you tighten everything to torque specs. with the weight off the suspension or the center drops will eat case hardened bolts like they were going out of style...

    01 Ranger AT & Fuel Gauge Problem

    Change the filter and fluid in the transmission. Make sure all the fluid levels are full. As for the fuel guage, could be the sending unit. It is integrated into the fuel pump in the tank. The level sensor may be your problem.I would check all the elect. connections before I pulled the fuel pump.

    2.9 Rough Idle/Stall During Warm-Up

    Had an '86 STX that developed the same problem. After about a week of searching I found one of the wires for the O2 sensor shorted out on an aftermarket exhaust clamp. A little black tape and a zip tie... problem gone.:thumbsup:
