    I'm from Hamilton. Ive got myself a 99 explorer sport. Only thing Ive done so far is put 31's on her. Everything else is stock for now. Haven't noticed anyone else from Steeltown:exp:.

    My 99 sport did the same. I had to get the tranny rebuilt.

    4x4 transfer case issues.

    I own a 99 sport. I had the same problem with mine and it would do it if you took off from a stop hard. I removed the front drive shaft and took it for a ride. The problem went away. It ended up being the warner transfer case. The chain that connects the front and rear output was slipping...

    Bad grinding, clunking when torque applied to front wheels?

    I just had the same problem with my 99 sport. It ended up being the output shaft inside the transfer case had a stripped gear. I took the front drive shaft off and took it for a ride. If the noise goes away, then it is your transfer case.:roll:
