How bad is your mileage?
I have new (bought July this year) 4.6 LTD. I live in Russia, we estimate fuel consumption in liters per 100 kilometers measure. If I'm not mistaken, transfer between measures is MPG=235/LTRSP100KMS and vice versa. So, recalculating my figures to MPG's the best mileage yet I had on swedish...- Zhe Litvinez

Controls illumination
Thanks, guys! Some relief. Explorer is a great vehicle. But Ford's neglect to useful details sometimes disappoints. Especially when you pay 62+ grands for 4.6 LTD 4x4 without fog lights, park assist and navigation. Those are not in options list here, had to install extra.- Zhe Litvinez

Controls illumination
Found strange thing on my '07 LTD - some of controls and switches are not illuminated. It is strange for me, because on my BMW all controlls, buttons and switches are lighted. I cannot clear it up myself as I live in St.Petersburg, Russia, and though bought my Explorer from official Ford dealer...- Zhe Litvinez
