cranshaft pos. sensor I just pulled the sensor out of the truck and it has a 3/8 in. groove in it from the pulley. It went into the guts of the sensor. The new sensor seems to not want to go in. I had to dang near pry the old sensor out. Anyone have any experience dealing with these?:thumbsup:

Help if can... I just removed the crankshaft position sensor and it had a groove chewed into it from the teeth on the pulley. What would have caused it? The new sensor will not fit. truck has been acting funny for some time now know why. thanx

I took out the crankshaft position sensor and it is chewed up. Got a nasty groove from the pulley. What in the heck would cause this and any help would be great. The new sensor seems like it don't wanna go in there. :us:

Replace the serp belt, was a little noisey. also replace the dead man pulley and the self adjuster, as was a little loosy, goosy. now has a squeak when starts up, but dies off when heated up. What's up with that? I was told it could be the harmonic balancer, but how to tell, that is not an...

update: anti rattle clip was jacked up. a little bend and whala.. dang, what a noise, sounded like sticking silverware in a garbage disposal.

Help, replace rotors and pads on my 04 Trac. Test drive and sounds like two bricks being ground down from front end. Any ideas? Was simple job, but sounds worse than metal to metal I had going on.:roll:

belt is not what is missing peices, but the rubber around the harmonic balancer pulley, the belt seems to be ok as far as falling apart. I have inspected all the pulleys and replace two. The ac pulley seems fine as well as powersteering. Noise seems to be under truck more than anywhere else.

:confused:a couple of months ago I had a belt like squeal in front of motor, replaced serpentine belt. Still makes noise. replaced idler pulley, still made noise. Replaced adjusting pulley, still makes noise and getting louder. Seems noise is really noticeable when laying on back looking up...
