Bump. Had a sobering conversation with a mechanic buddy this morning. Seems all the above mentioned troubles started (minus the speakers) just after replacing the alternator. Possible I have the wrong voltage? I know it was the right one, able to handle higher output. All bolts and harnesses...

Im not too sure about it's previous life, but I bought this truck with 80K on it and its underneath was rusted almost just as bad. Im assuming it spent its life here in the northeast. Thank you to everyone for your help :thumbsup:
