    How to determine error code??

    I've got a '94 XLT and does it need the more expensive scanner or will the $15 one from Wal-Mart work ok? Do they only work if you have a warning light come on or can they be used for preventive maintenance like an O2 sensor going out/fuel pressure regulator, etc...? Thanks for the input!

    Extended warranty on '94 worth it?

    Thanks for all your input! It sounds like getting the extended warranty is a no-brainer and will talk it over with the wife.     We just bought a '94 XLT with under 85,000 miles on it and can purchase the 36,000/3 year extended warranty thru the Ford dealership. I need to let them know by Monday (preferably Saturday) on our decision. For $1,299 it covers everything and for $999 it covers just the powertrain. Has anyone...
