    most likely it's the same problem as with all the other explorer's if you are unable to lock the doors, there's a grounding cable just behind the rear seats, under the mat, this cable had come loose and therefore it didn't lock the doors really annoying when you have to walk around the car...

    yes it was tha same solution for me too, but i had to pay the workshop for 9!!! Hours to find the problem, i payed more than $1000 to get the damn locks to work again now i have sold that stupid car and i will never again buy another american car again !!! Unhappy ford owner
