    problem is, from the looks of it you have cooling system cancer. other gaskets will fail in short order. i prefer to do the entire top end abd get it over with. bear in mind you'll throw away the intake gasket when you finally have to pull the heads. the head set is NOT CHEAP for these either...

    thx for the info. i guess the specs for the new sys. haven't totally made it into the manuals yet. info on returnless is difficult to find. i know some other systems are controlling the fuel pump from the CPU.

    factory gskt has rusted/rotted through. good experience for a first heavy line job. not real hard. make SURE you REPLACE the head bolts! my 2K was easier to pull the heads with the exhaust manifolds attached. you will probably have to remove the entire engine harness. you'll need a real good...

    fuel pressure at idle 30-45 psi (vac. on) 40-50 psi (vac. off) hold pressure after 5 min. 30-65 psi fuel pump max. 65 psi mine is the opposite, it's off the chain with 60+ at idle. anyone know a "cheap" source of a new reg.? napa is the only one who lists the new style, at $152!! they...
