i finally got my a/c working. the vac line running to the firewall was melted and closed the line. hooked a new line up and now the dash a/c works. thanks everyone for your help :D

i checked for vacum on the inside of the firewall behind the glove box and i felt no vacum:(

i still cannot find and holes leaks or cracks in any of the vacum lines. if the resivoir ball was bad would the a/c still blow cold?

just got to 144,600 in my xls still running strong

My air conditioning only blows out of the defrost. the switch is on max a/c and no air comes out of the dash. ive checked for vacum leaks and couldnt find any. i was told there is a box behind the glove box that a cable goes into and the cable sometimes breaks but i couldnt find a cable that...

i just bought a new front bumper and it has fog lights. i have the xls therefor there is no wireing for fog lights. any one kno were i can find a good wireing kit for the lights? thanks :cool:

the actuator has movement. there is no codder key on the lock and i think im missing a spring in the handle.

I have a 2000 explorer xls and my power lock on the drivers door does not work, nor does the key work. now even when its unlocked i can not open the door from the outside. the only way getting the door open is to pull the handle on the inside. any ideas of what is wrong and if so what i can do...
