I didn't try it in low with the motor off, guess I should have. Right now I'm content with the high working. Gets me through the snow.

electric shift motor I tried to rebuild the motor but had no luck. I bought a rebuilt motor for $72 and it works fine in 4 high now but not in low range. Maybe a problem with switch.

Hi everyone, I recently bought a 92 ranger 4x4 with electric shift It usually doesn't engage when button is pressed. when it does engage it makes a lot of clunking noise. I was wondering if the clunking could be from the electric motor not fully engaging? Any advice would be appreciated!
