    Can I substitute "tags" when replacing transmission?

    the transmission is failing on my 13 XLT 2.0l ecoboost. The current transmission tag is DE9P-7000-LA. Ford seems to sell the same remanufactured replacement (or at least the same tag number EE9Z -7000-ARM) for many different transmissions, which leads me to wonder if there are other...

    Explorer engine bay diagram/display 2.0 eco, 13

    I apologise if this has been posted already..but I have searched and cannot find anything..im basically looking for a stock motor diagram, labeling everything in the bay, if anyone can help I'd be much appreciated...please and thank you.

    More Merc Trace-cort fun... Timing Keeps Jumping...

    So the new motor, complete with head and head gasket all went in without a hitch... BUT Since then I have had the timing cover off 2x and installed 2 belts, and 1 timing tensioner (from the old motor). Each time I followed the instructions PER Chiltons: -Line up Cam and Crank timing makes...

    Merc Tracer - can the engine be pulled separate from trans??

    If anyone has pulled a motor on an Escort/Tracer any insight is appreciated. According to Hanes and Chiltons the eng and trans must be pulled as a unit. Has anyone been able to pull a 96-02 2.0L SOHC SPI without the trans attached? Thanks, Mike
