Selling my Velgen VF9 22×10.5 +30 offset in gloss black. 4 wheels and tires in very good condition. These awesome wheels were on my 22 Ford Explorer ST. I recently traded in my ST and was able to swap originals back on. Unfortunately, the dealership scratched a few of the wheels by simply...

    Photos 2006 4.0 cam timing

I had a head gasket failure due to overheating. Took care of the overheating problem. Warped heads. Got the heads resurfaced, valves lapped, new seals gaskets etc. I bought the camshaft alignment kit, and tried the passenger side first, but quickly discovered there is an issue. There is a gap...

4.0L Death Rattle But Only During Warm Starts Not Cold Ones

I recently, 3 days ago, began having the death rattle, but only during WARM starts! Not COLD starts! I am disabled & no longer have tools, so I rely on a mechanic. I recently had him install an aluminum thermo housing & new Ford Motor Company-brand external tensioners. It has run fine for 3 or 4...

    4.6 Timing Question

So I recently had a pretty bad timing failure, I was driving one night and from about 60-80km/h I lost the ability to accelerate, foot to the floor and the RPMs did not rise what so ever, I let go off the gas pedal and the engine was just maintaining speed, didn't even slow down. After about 5...

    Need Some 4.6 3V Experts

Hello Forum-- I just picked up a 2006 Explorer Limited 4.6 RWD. It has 210,000 miles on it and has been very well maintained. The engine seems to run beautifully, but it does have a light tick to it. I think we can rule out exhaust manifold leak. How can we tell the difference between a roller...
