    02 Explorer stuck in 4wd

    I have a 02 Explorer XLT. It has the Auto 4x4, hi, and low. Every now and then it gets stuck in 4x4 High due to the auto 4x4 kicking in. It will switch in and out of 4lo but refuses to go into normal. I've tried driving in reverse while switching, and switching from Auto, hi, lo, back to auto...

    Front Differential seems to be engaged

    2010 Explorer - feel and sounds like differential is engaged, stated out as a very slight feel in my pedals, though it might be a right wheel bearing; Ford dealer had it for a day to drive, could not detect what I was feeling; Now it is more defined in the front (transfer or differential)...
