    2008 4.6L LTD AWD question and noise (clunk)

    Greetings, I've done a search here and while there is a lot of info on this subject, I haven't seen anything conclusive. There seems to be a lot of disagreement as to how the AWD actually functions. Would any of you knowledgable folks help me understand how the AWD in my 2008 4.6L Explorer...
