    HELP!! Changing out Battery Cable Harness 2003

    I am changing out the complete battery cable harness on a 2003 4.0. I can't seem to be able to get the cable from the drivers side bottom to the alternator. Do you have to remove some pulleys of fan or something? HELP i'm stuck! Thank you, Aaron

    positive battery cable to starter

    Ford says the cable assembly is $172.50. Does the whole cable assembly need to be replaced? This seems to be a weak spot on Explorers.
