    O/D blinking 1995 Explorer

    I haven’t run any codes yet but my O/D light just started blinking. The previous owner replaced the transmission and I am wondering what potential issues I might be looking at. Again, I am sure I’ll know more after running codes.

    Drive in OD, but does not go into OD

    1991 explorer 4X4. The transmission has been rebuilt about a year ago. Ever since then only runs in the gear before overdrive. I drove in 'D' and then shift into [D] when the truck should go into Overdrive, but no change. Yes it will take off in [D] and the other gears without overdrive kicking...
