    Headlight bulbs (stock) actually exploding

    My son is driving this truck now, but I am helping him with issues. He is going through bulbs fast. And he is telling me that they are exploding in the housing. This vehicle was purchased new by my inlaws and then given to us for my daughter. She later passed it to my son. No modifications...

    head lights exploding!

    so i have a 96 xlt 4.0 and for the past week or so the right headlight keeps going out. it bursts inside the housing and i cant figure out why, i checked the fuse and the wiring harness and both were fine. the left one has only blown once and it happened a week or so before the right one went...
