    Idles rough on a cold start

    I have a 1999 Mercury Mountaineer (Exploder wannabe), 5.0 V8. Lately I have been having intermittent cold start issues. I'd say on about 50-60% of cold starts it idles VERY rough and will often die, requiring a restart. The initial RPM when it does this is incredibly low. The rest of the time...
