odb2

What ODBII device are people using to update the TCM and PCM and clear the transmission shifting tables? I have some rough shifting mostly around 45 mph. Accelerating through or decelerating down through there.

ok, i just put in a new motor about a month and a half ago and today my SEL came on and i read the system and got two codes. P1336, and P1601. and im not sure what the cause of the problem is, the engine seems to run GREAT(no knocks, and is perfectly smooth at idle...anyone else have this issue...

Now that I have two Exes , a 1996 and 2000 I would like to pickup a ODB2 reader from ebay. Can you guys recommend one , or one not to get ? The local stores in Toronto have them for $149 + ,, but ebay has them for $39 and up.. seeing that I'm a home mechanic with only two cars I can live with...
