    11-15 PTU/PTO Interchangeability

    Hi all, Im just making a post because I had a question relating to the PTU on my 15 Limited, recently I had the rear driveshaft output seal replaced as it was leaking and my mechanic noted that there was a lot of play and excess backlash in my PTU and it would need to be replaced at some point...

    Odd sound after PTU replaced

    PTO made unusual whirring sound upon decelerating near 30 mph . Replaced under warranty. Now odd sound upon acceleration at 5 - 10 mph, goes away after a few seconds. After traveling at least 30 minutes, unable to hear sound. Can be heard again after next day from cold start. And so it goes day...
