rear ac

I have a 2016 PIU that was a K9 unit, yes I have an AC unit in the rear which works perfectly and is controlled from my front end. I have purchased a console from a regular explorer that has the AC control and would like to be able to wire it up to be functional. Has anyone been able to do this?

My 1998 Explorer XLT has a great working condition front AC but when the rear is turned on a thumping noise is heard in the area of the vent running under the console that houses the rear ac fan. The fan is running and sounds fine but there is no meaningful amount of air coming out the vents...

My new 2017 XLT explorer rear air vents close by themselves when air is on full blast. Does anybody have that issue.

Has anyone added AC roof ducts for the rear on a second gen? I've always wondered if some small ducts would fit behind the B pillar trim, then up though the headliner. There seems to be a thick spot in the headliner just above and in front of the rear seats, this would be the perfect location...
