selenoid

Hi Guys... Wife was driving the 2001 Sport Trac and it started to lose power, then stopped running. I checked it out and when I try and start it, it produces a rythmic clicking sound. Checked the battery and terminals and it appears the car is getting sufficient power... never did this before...

Or will I explode??? I fabricated a coupling but its leaking. The plastic is broken off in the lines and I cant seem to get the plastic out. Its almost as if ther seleonoid was attached to ther line??? Where does the vacuum line lead to under the throttle body?? I cant see where it goes...
