    2003 mercury mountaineer slams into 5th gear

    2003 Mercury Mountaineer slams into 5th gear. v6 4.0L AWD with just over 240k miles. When driving over 45mph it will slam hard into 5th gear. I also hard time putting shifter into and out of park.

    Transmission went in neural while driving it.

    2002 ford explorer sport trac.I just got only drove 2 days out month. It shifted great next min wail driving down the road the truck shifted it self in neural while driving it. Then i had no gears couldn't start it up in park had used neutral to start it. And now it dont do nothing I dont hear...

    Hello, I just had a new transmission installed into my 2008 4x4 EB 4.0L. All gears work well. As a matter of fact, the truck runs wonderfully. If I want to put the car into drive, I have to put the gear selector into 3 then push into D, when it engages beautifly. Is there a way I can adjust...
