    Sensors, which one

    I bought my 1999 XLT new and it is now 25 years old and I am now 80 years old. I have visited this forum over the years but have not joined until now. I just now replaced the thermostat housing and the engine will start and then falter and quit. I suspect I did not get everything back together...

    x starts than shuts off in seconds

    I recently installed a k&n intake and everything was fine but i would get a really loud humming noise from the intake so i found a few threads that said if you clean the iac valve it might help stop the noise. So i cleaned it with some stp throttle & intake cleaner and let it dry out over night...
