Is there a purpose for this?

So my 95 Ford Explorer is having issues yet again. This time I believe it's the fuel pump. Went to see if mine had the secret hatch under the carpet of the 2nd row of seats and found this. I believe it's roof flashing, I could be wrong and that's why im here. Does anyone know what it is and what...

I really hate these transmissions! Just more fodder for the Wall of Shame- I just needed a few more months......... Maybe @410Fortune could Photoshop his dog somewhere in these pic.

    What is this part?

Hey gang, What is this part he's pulling out of evap core tube at >>> 28:32 mark of video ...? It sounds like he's caller it a "needer and tie" ??? ALSO, I've heard a major shortcut in replacing these evap cores in our Explorers is just removing / getting heater core hoses out of the way...

    Need help identifying this

Hi! It's been awhile but I need some help identifying this. The cap is loose and just placed on it. The other picture shows what looks like to me that the cap broke off inside. Does anyone know what this is? And what kind of issues or problems it may cause? Also maybe on how to fix it? Thanks!
