2003 Mercury Mountaineer slams into 5th gear. v6 4.0L AWD with just over 240k miles. When driving over 45mph it will slam hard into 5th gear. I also hard time putting shifter into and out of park.
So, I put a 2010 mustang 4.0 in a 2003 Sport trac. I switched all of the accessories and external parts over from the old engine that were needed to make the stang engine work. Everything went very well. The truck had no issue other than the typical timing tensioner issue. The truck runs well...
