I'm experiencing two things.
One, when moving at slow speed in the driveway there's a rattling that I can feel in the steering wheel and floor.
Someone suggested the "pilot bearing" (which the local auto parts store has no idea what that is).
Did they mean the front CV joint on the 2nd axle...
i have a 97 mountaineer awd 5.O 3 SPEED AUTO WITH OVERDRIVE
it just started makeing a chriping noise
when u shift from park to rev. and then its nothing
but sometimes it from park to drive
i let my wife drive it and when she hit a pot hole i heard the sound
i ve never had any probems...
