'01 bad rear end. Will front pull?

If I remove the rear driveshaft from a 2001 Explorer Sport (Auto trans), I should be able to put it in 4wd and back it up my driveway, right? I'm sure to have some atf leakage , but this should work, right?

yeah.. had to do this to my suburban.. I wouldnt drive it long term like that but movin it in your driveway shall be fine..
