Well guys I pulled the motor and replaced all the dreaded timing chains and got her back in.... until i heard a rattle still. So I proceeded to pull the valve covers off and 2 lash adjusters went bad. FML! So now I am running to the ford dealer to borrow the correct OHV spring release to change them. Anyone know if I should check out anything else. I am doing this for my father in law and this is my first 4.0 I have ever worked on. Half temped to drop my 351W in it and call it quits. 4 Timing Chains really? Also does anyone know where the wire from the top of the engine plugs in? it looks like a plastic hose and runs down the passenger side of the block. 2 wire connection. Also have one on the passenger side valve cover which comes out from the number 1 injector harness. Any help would be amazing. Thanks Guys!!
