please help
I just spent a bundle on an 02 xlt 4x4 and now cant find a lift any where for the 4 wheel inepindent suspension

Son, come down to San Antonio, Truck Toyz will do it all... or Austin too.

To my knowledge there isn't a suspension lift kit for the 3rd gens. EE was going to offer one but i'm not sure on it's status. With that said if you do a search for douglas racing you will find a 3rd gen running 35" tires with a 2" rancho lift (not made/sold to the public). Daystar did have some spacers apparently but they discontinued them since they case the upper ball joint or a-arm to fail...i think that's why they did at least. You could make a body lift pretty easy though.

Sorry

Help me in Wash state!!

Hey all, bit of a new guy here... I just ran across this post and I'm dying to throw in a suspension or body lift kit on my still stock '02 Ex 4.6 XLT. Which would be better for one question and any ideas on where I can find one for another question. Is this something I gotta install myself or are there shops that are willing to put this mod on? I live on a Navy base so I do have access to a pretty decent car hobby shop, it has a hydraulic lift and can rent all kinds of tools pretty cheap. I just need some good printed instructions and may be a second pair of hands(right?). Is there a REAL difference between the two types of lifts (ie. more room in wheel wells, price?)
