I recently had the timing chains gears and guides all replaced. Mine were trash. Everything was working great then we had some rain and cooler temps and the ses came on. Had it scanned and got code p1131 (o2 sensor lean). I have read timing could be an issue as well as egr or fuel pump or pressure. I had the sensor come on before timing replacement when i was traveling up in the mtns (9000' +). So should i just replaced the o2 sensors or start throwing parts at it till lights goes away.
the engine fires right up no noise and has plenty of power now. Could it be the computer trying to figure out the proper timing and will go away in time?
130k miles avg 12.9 mpg after 15.2 mpg before change. Since new timing i have not done a highway mpg so this is all city driving.
Any help would be appreciated.
