02 XLT seat belts

my seat belts retact very slow is there a way to lubricate them to move quicker pics would be great anyone with ideas

Also how do you stop the anoying ding sound when the seat belt is not on

owners manual has the procedure how to turn the belt minder off.

as for slow to retract, there is a tsb that sometimes work if the plastic cover does didnt fray the belt when it was eaten by it. its 1 felt strip you can put in the shoulder part / loop to make it more smooth to retract.

and if the belt is frayed, you would need a belt.
