03 differential breather

I rebuilt my front diff on my ST recently. Unfortunate I forgot to get the differential breathe hooked up correctly, I can reach it a little bit and push it in but it keeps popping out. It doesn’t seem to be threaded inside the diff and nor is the 90° breather post. Any suggestions/ thought on how to get it secured?

Unbolt the 3 bolts holding the diff. It'll drop down a little. I put the box end of a wrench over the fitting, then hammered on that to press it back into the differential
