in slow somewhat tight right or left turns the front wheels engage on dry pavement once i speed up and straight it seems normal, i have pulled the fuses and drove around and it did not do it.
i have read that their is an issue with the 4x4cm, could this be my issue ?

also it might be related but driving home from dinner one night i smelt eletrical burning smell, i thought it was coming from a home i drove by that burns wood in the winter for heat

Always check your tires first. They need to be the same brand, same model, exact same size, with even air pressure and with similar tread life. If they are not, start with fixing that and your issue may disappear. Otherwise, other posters may have some ideas for you. Also, when you search the forum, you'll find much about the 4x4 system here.

its common, ignore it. Or, see if a dealer PCM update might fix it. Otherwise, it's just an annoyance.

Agree with apenland. I was having problems recently with Explorer when making maneuvers and even just driving at times I would get shuddering. My tires were well towards the end of their tread life. I put on new tires and those symptoms you are having went away and it's a whole new experience again. Definitely check your pressure and make sure they are within 3/32 spec tread depth front to back or your computer is trying to adjust for different rotation speeds and compensating with AWD
