bump , no one knows ? wow i can get one from autozone for 180.00 but it maybe junk so im asking if that will work or should i look elsewhere ?

Check some of the 4 wheel magazines, they always have ads for stuff. There may be someone in there. One that comes to mind is TCI. They do transmission and stuff.

G-man, just curious: Are you going to have that auto tranny looked at/gone through while it's out of the truck? Since a large portion of the auto tranny repair costs are just removal and installation, I would be tempted.

i have totaly rebuilt an Al4d trans ( not hard at all ) ,,,, as for this one ( 5R55W ) since im taking it out and its a reman prob less than 50 k on it , im going to look at the internels , and i want to look at the servo bores and bands and to adjust them as well
