When I remove the key, the radio never goes off, the keyless entry does nothing, the power locks will not work, and the remote key fob does zero, not even the panic button.
I suspect an issue in the ignition tumbler, as if the key were still in it... Ideas?
Tried searching here, but couldn't find anyone with the same issues.
I disconnected/reconnected the battery, and shot some electrical cleaner into the ign tumbler, but the issue persists.
Thank you in advance for any insight.

I also noticed now that the sun went down that the lights on the door panels for the windows are staying lit, and the windows continue to work even with no key in the ign.

When you say "never goes off" do you mean even after you open the door to exit the vehicle? I believe it's set up to keep the radio on and power to the windows after you remove the key, up until you open the door. Then everything should power down.

It doesn't ever go off, and windows continues to operate after the key is removed and the door is open. The lights ont he window switches stay on. Used to be that the radio would go off when you opened the door, or after 30 seconds. The windows would not work without the key in. The door power locks and keyless entry no longer work, and I have no way to open the rear liftgate.....

Bump. Anybody? I have an auto electric place looking at it. They seem to think something is blowing a fuse, and then these things are staying from being backfed power somehow.

They had it for a while, and managed to get it to stop doing it, but as soon as I got home.....
Keeps blowing the fuse, 5 amp, I think pos 20. They seem to think its the seat, as one direction of the 6 will not operate under power. I pulled the two other fuses that relate to the seat, poppe din a new 5A, played with the power locks while moving around in the seat, and as I was getting out , while moving the PL switches the fuse blew again. How can THAT happen without power going to the seat????The power seat fuse and heated seat fuses weren't even i there. The only thing I can think of, is it maybe the sensor for the seatbelts?

Well, its doing it, again.
The last time, the shop said it ended up being a wire in the drivers door that was grounding out blowing the fuse.
Unfortunately, they didnt tell me which one. I pulled the door panel and didnt see any obvious chafing on any wires. I wiggled each wire grouping while operating the power locks that quit working when the fuse blows and i could not get the fuse to blow, both with key inACC and Running.
When it happens, the radio stays on, the windows work and locks are inop ,all when key is removed.
Ideas?
