04-05 Interior/Body Style changes?

I'm shopping for my first Sport Trac and test drove a 2005 today and really liked it. The owner also had a 2004 which he stated had a slightly narrower feel and he thinks they either changed either the interior or door shape in the 2005 to accommodate larger passengers. Does anybody know if this is true?

No, the body and everything is the same between '01-05 but there were subtle changes to headlight switches, interior door panel design (not for bigger people) just ahndles and speaker grilles. They switched to a more car-like design in 2006.

The big difference between 01-03 style and the 04-05 is the door panel (Handle and speaker grill) and also the 04-05 have a digital odometer and a desperate switch panel for headlights that integrated fog lights into there instead of the radio bezel
