Ok Its my X girlfriends all time 4WD 04 Explorer she said the other day she was driving and all of a sudden she was getting a loud clunk randomly while she was driving. Well I told her to check the 4WD buttons and since then there has not been any issues. Well yesterday she said she was driving and the truck started squealing while she was driving and it was loud. It has about 70k on it now. So I drove it last night and didnt get anything to happen. I thought maybe CV Boots but I dont see them leaking.
What issues do these trucks see that are common that I might look out for? I believe its the V6.
