About a a month ago the charging sys. light came on. Had it checked out and the Alternator was bad so I changed it out. After that within the first couple starts it failed to crank up and died, second try it started and kept running. For the past month every time it is started it almost seems like it is going to die at startup but it has allways remained running. Yesterday it died at startup and kept running the second try again. Any ideas as to what may be going on or anything I can check before going to a mechanic?

The Idle Control Valve could be bad, if it has one. There could be a mechanical issue with the TB. Intermittant sticking or binding. Or the TB is bad. It is Throttle By Wire right?

Pretty sure it's by wire I can verify though. When you made referance to that I thaught of something else when I drive it it seems like the pedal pushes a little too far before the engine revs or you pull off if driving.
