(04 explorer limited) First time posting here. Have a question and I’m needing advice

I’m wanting to do a true dual exhaust set up on my 04 limited. Has anyone else done this before? And if yes can I see pictures? So far my idea is to remove everything except the headers, connect exhaust pipes to headers and install cats further down the exhaust piping than what it is stock. I’m wanting to get the aggressive muscle sound out of it. I have a 4.6 v8 so I think it will sound nice. I’m not trying to be one of those people who have it extremely loud I am just wanting the muscle car sound out of my explorer. Thanks in advance

I don’t think a pipe will fit between the trans and the fuel tank on the passenger side. You are probably going to have to bring both pipes over the crossmember on the stock drivers side. When I did my engine swap I was going to use the stock y-pipe but remove the Y and run duals from there. I ended up getting a 3” single into dual 2.5” after the magnaflow muffler.
