Hey guys, first post here.
My neighbor has a 2004 Explorer that she recently bought from a local dealer. The car was having issues with an O2 sensor when she bought it, but that has since been replaced. However, after replacing the sensor, she began to have all kinds of electrical problems. She gave me a list of notes, which I will retype below.
According to her, she replaced the O2 sensor, then plugged in an OBD scanner to see if there were any other issues. The scanner noted numerous problems, but the car was still drivable. However, the other day she got in the car, and it would not start, and eventually got stuck into neutral (not sure exactly how that happened if it would not start). At the moment, anytime she attempts to start the car, it simply clicks and most of the dash lights light up/blink, etc.
Anyway, I'll post her notes below, just checking to see if you guys have any idea why it may be stuck in neutral/will not start.
I am relatively new to DIY repairs, as my father has worked for a Ford dealer since I was a child - so any repairs that were done were through a dealer, so I'm not really sure what could be going on here. I would've just suggested for her to take it to my father and have it checked out, however, with it not starting, that would be tremendously difficult, as the closest trusted dealer is over 1.5hrs away.
Anyway, any help at all would be appreciated, and if you need anymore information, just ask and I'll do my best.
Cheers
