05 XLT Door keypad code?

I know I can take my truck to the dealer and have them pull up my door keypad code, but that is gonna cost me time and money, neither of which I want to spend. Does anyone know where and how to find the factory keycode myself? I have a 2005 XLT if that matters. Thanks everyone.

1. Carefully pop out the black trim piece on your dashboard (near the bottom of the windshield)

2. Shine a flashlight where you removed the piece, the code will be printed on a white module looking thing



I had the same issue, takes like 5 minutes.

I could not find it by removing my dash cover and managed to break the corner for the effort. I removed my glove box and then found the module to the upper left. Remove it and it is on top. I then put the number in my manual and made a dymo label too. If you have two original keys you can make your own keys from unprogrammed blanks
