06 EB radio install issue

Put a Kenwood dpx791 stero in along with the c2r-frd1 wiring harness. Issue is the stero plays for awhile but then cuts off and won't come back on. Anyone else had an issue like that?

The radio has cut off twice on me and will not restart without unhooking battery for 30mins or so. It cut off once while radio playing and just cut off on ipod playing. So guessing either a radio issue or a wiring harness issue. My harness has that blue pac module on it, are people using that on here?

Verify you have the correct power wire. Otherwise, I'd contact Kenwood support, may be a defective unit.

it was a bad wiring harness, I ordered a new one and replaced. I also installed a relay between the harness and connection to stereo.
