06 Ford Explorer - Factory Installed Sirius

I have a 2006 Ford Explorer and it has factory installed Sirius. I lost my signal to Sirius and was working? with them to download again but no luck. After several attempts they told me I must have a loose connection. Does the entire dash has to be pulled to find that connection

The radio can be removed with a radio removal tool, assuming the factory serius is built into the radio.
