I've had this truck for 6+ years and it's been pretty good, now has 114k miles.
Not sure if it has lost much power recently, but I am wanting to increase it's power, especially 0-60mph wise. Also it seems to take too long to downshift and accelerate for passing purposes (say 60-80mph) but that's not too big a deal.
I'm taking this in to a local independent shop this week for a new radiator and brakes.
My question is what are some ideas for boosting the mojo of this old dog?
It's totally stock currently and I am on a budget so the cheaper the better, but I'm willing to spend for a real result.
Some I have seen so far are:
What do you power gurus think of any of these in terms of bang for the buck?
What else I should I consider?
Which ones can I do myself versus having the shop perform?
