I have an 07' Eddie Bauer with Moonroof and single CD player in dash. Is it possible to add the OEM DVD player (overhead) unit without too much trouble? Any info you have would be appreciated.

Im sure its possible, but you can get aftermarket ones that looks just as nice (even larger screens) for usually cheaper than the cost of factory. Back when i installed, i would rather install it in a car with a moonroof. Makes the installation much easier.

Your factory radio may not be set up for the factory unit anyways, so you would need some sort of rf-modulator. This is how the sound gets into the radio.

Thanks. Just a question--whey is it easier to install on a moonroof unit? Does that mean that the brackets for the dvd or mounting flanges are there?

Thanks in advance for your input.

There is usually cross braces between the headliner and moonroof slide cover (i would check, but i dont have a moonroof). You can place a thin piece of wood up there and scrure it to this brace easier. Then you attach your screen to tat. You dont have to reach from the side of the truck and under the headliner.
