1/4 mile times for a bone stock 1998 Explorer XLT 5.0 RWD

How quick is a 98 Explorer XLY 5.0 in the 1/4 mile? Its RWD and has 157,000 miles and runs great.

My 1994 Mustang GT Vert. with 68,000 miles ran a 16.3 @87 MPH bone stock

I have 206k on mine and dont abuse it, trans still shifts out good and I want to keep it that way.

I have an 03 Cobra and it runs 12's stock.

Stock awd models run 17.0, I would guess with 2wd it would be around 16.8-16.9@~80mph.

Do the two wheel drives have the same transmission as the AWD? Are they as reliable as the AWD?

I have a 98 two wheel drive with 140,000 and am trying to decide how much to spend to fix it up (ball joints, shocks, trans flush, etc).

Yes it's the same transmission with a different tail housing.
