Hello everyone, I am new to this forum, really just trying to help out a friend with a problem, not my personal vehicle. I have tried to do some searches to find an existing thread, but couldnt find the answer I need, Im sorry if this is already posted and I missed it.
Ok here goes, it is a 97' Explorer XLT 5.0 V8 loaded. The vehicle started to blow the #10 underhood 30-amp Maxi fuse, which I would guess is the power windows, locks, moon roof, etc because none of those work when the fuse blows. I am guessing a short because if you put in another fuse it will blow when the vehicle is driven a few feet. Where should I start, what do I do? Thank you very much in advance......
Well I think I figured it out, read some more tonight and I am pointed a ground wire in the Drivers door, 10/12 awg that breaks frequently and stops these functions. True?
