115 degrees outside and it looks like Christmas!!

115 today, and every light on the dash came on.
Airbag light flashed several times and then stayed on. Check engine light on, 4X4 lights flashing.
I guess 13 years in the summer heat's taken it's toll on the connectors.
They've probably expanded and contracted so many times from temperature extremes that they've lost their spring. The truck ran fine, but that was freaky.
Disconnected the battery for 5 minutes, and all returned to normal.

Does anyone know where the main brain (computer) is located?
Thought it might be a good idea to check those connections.

There are 2. The PCM(power train control module), that's in the fire wall passenger side just inboard of the heater box. The second is the GEM(generic electronics module), and that's inside the dash to the left of the radio. The PCM controls all engine and tranny functions, and the GEM controls all chassis functions(including 4wd).

The PCM is easy to get to, its just to the right of the passenger side foot board.

They're both pretty easy to get to. When you open the hood look at the fire wall, just left of center there's a connector with a big bundle of wires coming out of it. That's the PCM under the connector. The GEM is easy too. Just remove the radio, take out the 2 7mm screws holding the trim and remove the trim. look to the left, there is a black box with 4 connectors on it. That is the GEM. It's only held in by 1 7mm screw.

Temp yesterday was only 102, and no lights came on.
I'm sure it's heat related.
